Solar eclipse from the balcony

On 2008 August 01 a total solar eclipse could be observed from the Artic Ocean, Siberia and China.
As I was not able to make a journey to the path of totality, I watched the partial eclipse from my home.
The sky was perfectly clear during the whole eclipse and only at the very end some clouds moved in.
With those circumstances it was a really relaxed observation from my balcony and another nice experience.
